About Ivy Tea Rose, Inc.

In 2007, Ivy Tea Rose, Inc. was founded and works in partnership with the Nu Iota Omega (NIO) chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. We support the programs and initiatives of NIO, sponsor fundraising events and/or fund programs in collaboration with NIO supporting the programs and initiatives of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Our mission statement to promote education, health and social development of children and families is the guiding force for the work of this organization.  Ivy Tea Rose, Inc. in partnership with the Community Service Center at Margaret Square provides a mentoring program, Ivy Rosettes, to young girls between the ages of 8 and 17 years.  The organization also awards three scholarships annually to high school students pursuing college, assists students as they seek admission to college by providing guidance and support in completing the application and enrollment process, raise community awareness of critical health issues impacting African Americans with primary focus on breast cancer awareness and prevention, heart health, nutrition and wellness, and care for the caregivers.

We welcome donations and support from the community to assist us with Ivy Tea Rose, Inc. vision and mission.  We look forward to increasing our presence in the Eatonville, Maitland, Winter Park, North Orange, South Seminole counties and surrounding communities.
